Two lengths of rope, a short and a long are tied together. The knot is seen in the lower part of the rope. The rope is given a little shake and the knot jumps visibly up into the center. The knot is then untied. The two pieces are equal in length now.

CORD-FUSION

Two equal ropes are brought one near the other and held parallel between the performer's hands. By passing the hands slowly over, a miracle occurs: the two pieces visibly merge one into the other! The magician holds finally a continuous length of rope between his hands.
